Once again DJ Dame
will performat at what is considered the Mecca of Electronic
Music: "Fuse In, Detroit's Electronic Music Festival
2005" on the TodaysMusic Stage.

TodaysMusic is dedicated
to showcasing the world's most important and influential new
musical artists and cutting edge talent, while paying close
attention to the history of true urban music. During this
showcase in Detroit, culture, music, attitude, and individuality
are celebrated under the banner of electronic music culture.
Fuse IN
Formerly known as
the Detroit Electronic Movement Festival and Movement under
the direction of previous organiser Derrick May this year's
festival, now called Fuse-in, has come together under the
hands of techno DJ, producer and godfather Kevin Saunderson,
who has achieved the impossible and put together the festival
in just a few short months after the Detroit City Council
were slow to grant approval to the event.
The 3-day festival
will feature over 120 prominent electronica and techno DJs
and live performances spread over four stages including ,
Aux 88, Model 500, UR Live, Electrofunk, Scan 7, Octave One,
James Pennington, Buzz Goree, John Tejada, Richie Hawtin,
Green Velvet, Alexander Robotnick, Jacek Sienkiewicz, Daniel
Bell, Apparat, Ken Ishii, Deetron, Carl Craig and of course
festival organiser Kevin Saunderson
Fuse In festival
is the most important festival for contemporary electronic
music in North America. Fuse In festival takes place annually
for 3 days and presents locally, nationally and internationally
outstanding productions of electronic music in a mix of concerts,
live performances and club events. A supporting program of
discussions, presentations, video screenings and installations
allows for an extensive discourse of artistic and social questions
within the field of the electronic music culture.
The multi-faceted
program of Fuse In offers an annual comprehensive overview
of the latest music and video projects, of technical developments
and interesting stiles in electronic music. Innovative clubsounds
meet experimental soundart and arouse copious communication
between the diverse genres. Fuse In emphasizes the cross-over
of institutional, academic and popular contexts as well as
the interdisciplinary of music, media technology and visual
arts. Therefore it significantly contributes to the experimental
development of the artistic potential of electronic music
in cooperation with design, video, motion graphics and other
formats. Due to this exceptional mixture Fuse In attracts
a wide audience. As a lively platform for exchange and communication
amongst the participants, professionals and visitors, the
festival focuses on the social dimensions of music and new
media technologies. For artists, producers, music labels,
distributors and organizers it is an internationally important
meeting point.
With the increasing
relocation of the US commercial music enterprises towards
Detroit, the importance of the event is prospering: As a major
forum for communication and a field of experimentation that
